About
Dev is a 22 year old African-American pianist, composer, producer, and multimedia artist based in Chicago, Illinois.
His work, play and collaborative spirit have opened doors across the world including performing with world-renowned artists such as Common, Paquito D'Rivera, Marquis Hill, the AACM, Ernest Dawkins, Markus Stockhausen, and Miguel Zenon to name a few.
His solo work intends to bridge the gap between the electronic age and the past in efforts to bring the two to an intersection increasing the transaction of knowledge and between the two. At heart, he considers the most passionate aspects of his work to be in its exploration of musicology and anthropology.
Beyond creating on stage, Dev is passionate about photography, graphic design, and video/digital marketing pursuing these as a hobby and professionally.
